Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 16 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions explain the basis on which Fuelled By Chef provides nutrition coaching, consultations, personalised plans, digital resources and related services.
Please read them before purchasing or using a paid service.
1. About Fuelled By Chef
Fuelled By Chef is currently operated by JH Enterprises LTD., trading as Fuelled By Chef.
Business address:
69 Sycamore Avenue
Lowestoft
Suffolk
NR33 9PH
United Kingdom
Email: jonathan@fuelledbychef.com
If a limited company is incorporated to operate Fuelled By Chef, these terms will be updated with the new legal entity’s details.
2. Who can use our services
Our coaching and paid services are intended for people aged 18 or over.
By purchasing a service, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- The information you provide is accurate and complete
- You are legally able to enter into a contract
- You are purchasing for personal use unless otherwise agreed in writing
We may decline or discontinue a service where it falls outside our qualifications, professional scope or ability to support you appropriately.
3. Our services
Fuelled By Chef may provide:
- Initial consultations
- Nutrition coaching
- Personalised nutrition targets
- Meal structures and meal-planning support
- Recipes and shopping guidance
- Progress reviews and check-ins
- Educational resources
- Downloadable digital products
- Other related services described before purchase
The exact service, price, duration, inclusions and communication arrangements will be explained in the relevant package description, proposal or confirmation email.
If package-specific terms conflict with these general terms, the package-specific terms will take priority where they were clearly provided and accepted before purchase.
4. Forming a contract
Submitting an enquiry or attending a free consultation does not commit either party to purchasing or providing a paid service.
A contract is formed when:
- We confirm the service being offered;
- You agree to the service and these terms; and
- We accept your booking or payment.
We may decline an order or coaching application before acceptance. If payment has already been taken and we cannot provide the service, it will be refunded.
You should save a copy of these terms and any package confirmation for your records.
5. Nutrition and health information
Fuelled By Chef provides nutrition coaching, practical food guidance and educational support.
Our services do not provide:
- Medical diagnosis
- Medical treatment
- Emergency care
- Prescriptions or medication advice
- Treatment for eating disorders
- A substitute for advice from a doctor, registered dietitian or other appropriately qualified healthcare professional
You must seek appropriate medical advice if you have symptoms, a diagnosed medical condition, a history of disordered eating, complex allergies, concerns about medication or any other issue requiring clinical support.
Never delay seeking medical advice or disregard advice from a healthcare professional because of information supplied by Fuelled By Chef.
6. Information you must provide
To provide an appropriate service, we may ask for relevant information about your:
- Health and medical history
- Medication
- Allergies and intolerances
- Dietary requirements
- Weight and body measurements
- Activity and training
- Goals, routine and lifestyle
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding status
- Previous or current disordered-eating concerns
You agree to provide honest and accurate information and to tell us promptly if your health, medication, circumstances or symptoms change.
We are not responsible for consequences caused by information being withheld, incomplete or inaccurate, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
We may pause or stop coaching and recommend medical support if information arises that makes continued coaching inappropriate.
7. Allergies and food safety
You are responsible for checking ingredient labels, allergen information, food-storage instructions and suitability for your individual needs.
Manufacturers may change ingredients or production methods without notice. Where you have a serious allergy, intolerance or medical dietary requirement, you should confirm suitability directly with the manufacturer and follow advice provided by your healthcare professional.
Recipes must be prepared, stored, reheated and consumed using appropriate food-safety practices.
Nothing in this section removes our responsibility to exercise reasonable care and skill when preparing your guidance.
8. Your responsibilities
Coaching is a collaborative service. You agree to:
- Participate honestly and respectfully
- Complete agreed check-ins where reasonably possible
- Ask questions when instructions are unclear
- Use recommendations sensibly
- Inform us of relevant changes
- Seek medical assistance where appropriate
- Avoid sharing account access or client materials with other people
- Make your own decisions about whether and how to apply the guidance provided
Progress depends on many factors outside our control, including consistency, health, sleep, stress, activity and personal circumstances.
9. No guaranteed results
We will provide the agreed service with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot guarantee a particular:
- Amount or rate of weight loss
- Amount of muscle gain
- Body composition
- Performance improvement
- Health outcome
- Completion date for reaching a goal
Testimonials, photographs and case studies describe individual experiences. They do not promise that another person will achieve the same result.
10. Prices and payment
The price and payment schedule for your service will be explained before you purchase.
Unless stated otherwise:
- Prices are displayed in pounds sterling
- Payment must be made using an approved payment method
- You are responsible for providing valid billing information
- Work may not begin until payment has been received
- We will not add undisclosed charges
If a payment fails, we may pause access to coaching or paid resources until the outstanding amount is resolved.
Where instalments or recurring payments are offered, the total price, billing frequency and minimum commitment will be disclosed before purchase.
11. Recurring coaching
Where you purchase an ongoing monthly service, it will continue for the period agreed at purchase.
If automatic renewal applies, this will be made clear before payment. You may cancel future renewals by emailing jonathan@fuelledbychef.com before the next payment is due.
Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund a payment already due or a service already provided. Your statutory cancellation and consumer rights remain unaffected.
We will give reasonable notice of any price change affecting future renewal periods. You may cancel before the changed price takes effect.
12. Your right to cancel
When you purchase online, by telephone or through another distance-selling method, you will normally have the legal right to cancel within 14 days without giving a reason.
The cancellation period begins on the day after the contract is formed.
To cancel, email jonathan@fuelledbychef.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You may also use the cancellation form at the end of these terms.
Starting services during the cancellation period
If you ask us to begin coaching or other services during the 14-day cancellation period, you expressly request early performance of the service.
If you then cancel within the 14 days, you will be entitled to a full refund.
If the service is fully completed during the cancellation period, you will lose the right to cancel once:
- You expressly requested that the service begin early;
- You acknowledged that the cancellation right would be lost when the service was fully performed; and
- The service has been fully performed.
Immediately accessible digital content
If you purchase digital content and request immediate access or download during the cancellation period, you may lose the right to cancel once supply begins, provided you have:
- Given express consent for supply to begin immediately; and
- Acknowledged that doing so means losing the cancellation right.
Nothing in this section affects your rights where a service or digital product is faulty, not as described or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
13. Cancellations after the statutory period
After the statutory cancellation period has ended, cancellation and refund arrangements will depend on the service purchased and the work already completed.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Fees for services already delivered are not refundable
- Completed personalised work is not refundable merely because you change your mind
- Future recurring payments can be stopped in accordance with Section 11
- Any refund due will be returned using the original payment method where reasonably possible
We will consider exceptional circumstances fairly, including serious illness or significant changes in personal circumstances, but this does not guarantee a refund.
14. Sessions, check-ins and communication
The communication method and frequency included in your package will be confirmed before purchase.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Communication is provided during reasonable working hours
- Messages are not monitored continuously
- Responses may not be immediate
- Unused check-ins or calls do not automatically roll over
- Coaching is not an emergency or crisis service
If you need to rearrange a booked call, please provide as much notice as reasonably possible.
Repeated missed appointments, abusive communication or prolonged non-participation may result in the service being paused or ended. We will act reasonably and explain any decision before doing so where practicable.
15. Delays and availability
Any delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree that a particular deadline is essential.
We will tell you if a significant delay occurs and will take reasonable steps to minimise its effect.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events genuinely outside our reasonable control, such as serious illness, internet or platform failure, natural disaster or widespread service disruption.
If a delay is substantial, you may contact us to discuss rescheduling, an alternative service or any cancellation right available to you.
16. Ending services
You may end an ongoing service in accordance with the cancellation arrangements supplied with your package.
We may suspend or end a service if:
- Payment remains overdue
- You repeatedly fail to engage with essential elements of the service
- You behave abusively or unlawfully
- You misuse or redistribute our materials
- Continuing would be unsafe or outside our professional scope
- The working relationship has broken down to the extent that effective coaching is no longer reasonably possible
We will normally explain the reason and provide reasonable notice. Where we end a service without fault on your part, we will refund any prepaid amount relating to services that will not be delivered.
Terms intended to continue after the service ends—including intellectual-property, confidentiality and liability provisions—will remain in effect.
17. Digital products and technical access
Digital products are supplied in the format described at purchase.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have a suitable device, software and internet connection to access them.
If a technical fault prevents access, contact jonathan@fuelledbychef.com and we will take reasonable steps to restore access, provide a replacement or offer another remedy required by law.
Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for its stated purpose and as described. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
18. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all rights in Fuelled By Chef materials belong to Jonathan Herron trading as Fuelled By Chef or the relevant licensed owner.
This includes:
- Recipes
- Meal plans and nutrition plans
- Coaching documents
- Guides and downloads
- Videos, photographs and graphics
- Website content
- Branding and written materials
When you purchase a service or digital product, you receive a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own non-commercial purposes.
You must not reproduce, sell, publish, share, upload, distribute or commercially exploit the materials without prior written permission.
You may print or save a reasonable number of copies for your personal use.
19. Testimonials and progress content
We will not publish your name, testimonial, photographs, measurements or case study without obtaining separate permission.
Participation in promotional content is optional and is not a condition of receiving coaching.
Any use of personal information is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
20. Website information
We take reasonable care to keep website information accurate and current. However, general website and social-media content is provided for educational purposes and is not personalised advice.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
21. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Breach of statutory consumer rights
- Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for:
- Losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed
- Business losses arising from a consumer purchase
- Consequences caused by inaccurate or withheld information
- Failure to follow relevant professional medical advice
- Independent decisions or actions taken outside the agreed service
Nothing in these terms removes the legal rights available to you as a consumer.
22. Privacy and confidentiality
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Information you share during coaching will be treated confidentially, subject to lawful exceptions. We may disclose information where:
- You have authorised us to do so
- Disclosure is required by law
- It is necessary to protect someone from a serious and immediate risk
- It is necessary to obtain confidential legal, insurance or professional advice
Electronic communication cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary email or social media.
23. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact:
Email: jonathan@fuelledbychef.com
Please include:
- Your name
- The service purchased
- A clear explanation of the problem
- The outcome you are seeking
We will acknowledge and investigate complaints fairly and aim to provide a substantive response within 14 days.
24. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services, legal structure or applicable law.
Changes will not remove rights already accrued under an existing contract. If a material change affects an ongoing paid service, we will provide reasonable notice.
The latest version will be published on our website with its revision date.
25. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you retain any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the laws of that part of the United Kingdom.
You may bring legal proceedings in the courts that apply to your place of residence where consumer law permits.
